Prueter Library - Learning Differences and Dyslexia

Ventura County Library’s READ Adult Literacy Program will be presenting two programs about learning differences and reading challenges at the Ray D. Prueter Library in Port Hueneme. Each presentation is open to the public and free of charge.

The first program will be about Learning Differences, and will be offered on Saturday, May 11 at 2 pm. and again on Thursday, May 30 at 6 pm. This program is being presented by Mariaemma Willis, M.S., who has worked with thousands of families and teachers assessing learning styles, diagnosing school problems, and facilitating literacy programs.

The second program will focus on Dyslexia and will be presented on Tuesday, May 14, at 6 pm. This program will be presented by Cheri Rae. Ms. Rae is the director of the Dyslexia Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about dyslexia, and providing information and resources for dyslexic individuals of all ages.
