In case you missed it the first time over the summer, here's your second chance to join us for Medicare 101, an informational session with Medicare Specialist, Deborah Hilgerman. On Friday, November 30, 2018 from 1:00 - 2:00pm, Deborah will explain parts A, B, C, and D of Medicare and how to avoid penalties. The presentation will include changes coming in 2019.
Deborah Hilgerman is the founder of Hilgerman Insurance Solutions, an independent health insurance agency. Dedicated to assisting our population in making informed decisions as it relates to their health insurance, Deborah believes that educating individuals turning 65 and those already of Medicare age is paramount in the journey to identifying the best options for those entering retirement and beyond. She believes that having the right health insurance is critical as we age into our senior years, where having the wrong insurance could be catastrophic. Deborah's presentation will focus on when to enroll in Medicare, when to postpone enrollment, how to avoid penalties, and much more.
This educational presentation is free and open to the public. For additional information, please call the Prueter Library at (805) 486-5460.
