Get creative this spooky season and enter our Haunted House Contest!
Submission Guidelines
- One Haunted House entry per person or family team.
- Haunted House must specify entry category: Children, Teen or Family.
- Haunted House can be any theme as long as it is family friendly (Example: themes can be a favorite scene from a book, movie, television show, musical, time in history, etc.)
- Entries must be no larger than 16" x 12" x 12".
- Attach the entry form to the back or bottom of your Haunted House entry. Click here to download the entry form.
- Haunted Houses must be picked up by Saturday, Nov 13 by 5 pm or they will be discarded.
Entries must be submitted in person between Oct 11 - 29 at one of the following branches:
- Prueter Library (Port Hueneme)
- Foster Library (Main St, Ventura)
- Ojai Library (Ojai)
A limited number of material kits are available at: Prueter Library, Foster Library, Ojai Library
Judging
- Our Teen Volunteers will judge submissions the week of Nov 1 - Nov 5.
- Prizes will be awarded in the Kids, Teens and Family categories: Spookiest, Most Creative, and Judges Favorite.
- Winners will be notified by phone or email on Saturday, Nov 6.
