The Ventura County Library's 2022 One County, One Book program concludes on Saturday, November 12, with this special author event featuring Mayukh Sen at the beautiful California State University Channel Islands campus (1 University Dr, Camarillo, CA 93012). This event is the culmination of all of the OCOB programming held throughout October and November, and will include a talk by Sen about his book Taste Makers: Seven Immigrant Women Who Revolutionized Food in America. The talk will be followed by a Q&A session and book signing. Taste Makers was named Best Book of 2021 by NPR and one of the Wall Street Journal's favorite books of 2021. Registration for the Author Talk with Mayukh Sen is free but required, and participants can register here. NOTE: There is also an option to register for a special VIP Reception held prior to the Author Talk and sponsored by the Ventura County Library Foundation.
