Prueter - "Cristero Rebellion" Presentation
Following a short business meeting, the Friends of the Port Hueneme Library are pleased to present:
Councilwoman Sylvia Munoz Schnopp who will address the topic of "The Cristero Rebellion," a "holy war" lasting from 1926 to 1929 in Mexican history. She will share her discovery and research of the Cristeros (Soldiers for Christ) who fought against anti-Catholic forces, during that period when practicing one's faith was a crime in Mexico.
