Attorney H. Frederick Seigenfeld of Seige Law will visit the Hill Road Library to present a talk centered around protecting your loved ones, yourself and your assets. The presentation will cover subjects such as advanced healthcare directives, wills and trusts, probate, and more. The talk will include a slide presentation, real life examples, and a Q&A session.

Whether your concern stems from the care of your minor children, a recent health scare, or simply the realization that you have yet to fully plan for the future, this open forum promises to provide invaluable information to everyone. The talk will first address the importance and nuance of advanced healthcare directives. Questions of focus will include: what happens without an advanced healthcare directive and what can an advanced healthcare directive do to better represent your healthcare wishes.

Probate is promised to be a significant topic. Some may be intimately familiar with this procedure. Others may have little to no knowledge of it. Regardless, the topics to be addressed will shed light on the financial and emotional implications of a family finding themselves in probate and what steps can be taken to ensure your family avoids this unnecessary, emotional, and damaging process.

Before ending with a Q&A session, the conversation is slated to cover potential legal tools available to aid us all, no matter our age or status, in making sure our wishes, our loved ones, and our assets are protected today, tomorrow, and beyond.

This event is free and open to the public. For additional information, call (805) 677-7180.
