Wednesday, October 9, 2019 - 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Don't miss out on this creepy cool lecture, presented by docent Kathryn Padgett from the Santa Barbara Museum of Art Community Speakers Program.

Human imagination moved to the dark side in an attempt to explain fearful, unknown, and hard to understand circumstances; thus, monsters were born. Many kinds of monsters have been imagined by humans and depicted in visual and performing arts. Enjoy learning about Frankenstein, Dracula, gorgons, demons, cyclops, Cerberus, Minotaur and much more.

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call (805) 677-7180.
